1. Outline all my tasks for the following day 2. Prioritize the tasks 3. Pick the top 5 highest priority tasks 4. Assign a set amount of time to devote to each task 5. Schedule non-negotiable blocks of time the following day to tackle the 5 tasks, putting the most difficult tasks first 6. Schedule short breaks in between 5-30 minutes 7. Review day. Life can be like a natural disaster at times…. A real Sh^t storm if you will. We’ve all felt life’s tornado touch down upon us at one time or another. Some seek shelter, some weather the storm, some get caught up and get taken away, some get just angry. So, Where do you go… and how do you handle the storms? Imagine a Tornado about to touch down around you. Whipping and whirling at 200 mph. Dark, Cold, and Dangerous… I believe you have 3 options. YOU GET LOST IN THE STORM- Carried away by the drama. Lost, angry, asking questions with no real answers, like…”Why me? Why now? Is God punishing me? If only i had…If only I hadn’t….” Lost in the mind….Swept up by life’s storm a casualty of an unconscious mind. YOU DISASSOCIATE- This would look like- taking a step back. Just looking at the storm. Still being affected but acting like you are not. Checking out mentally or emotionally. This is the person who has lost in business and now says….”Money and career aren’t important. “ This is the person who has lost a love and now says “Relationships aren’t important”. The one who screams “ I don’t give a Sh^t.” What this person is really saying is ….”I care…but I’m hurting ..i’m so afraid of being hurt and let down again that I am afraid to feel. “ A disassociated life is not a life. OR>>>>> YOU STEP UP- This requires strength and courage. You STEP DIRECTLY INTO THE STORM. You stand in the eye of the Tornado conscious to all the chaos spinning...

Before really huge meetings like the ones I’ve been having – I tell myself— “I am made of Magic”. But I say it in the kind of voice like I’m talking to a little baby- “Who’s made of Magic?!?” “Eli, are you made of Magic???!!” “Yes you are! — Oh, Yes You Are!!” This makes me giggle. A real giggle. Not a fake one Then I kill that freaking meeting;) Say the above phrase to yourself or out loud in your talking to a baby voice. Giggle to yourself. Then go make Magic)) EW Share...

Has something happened? You Woke up late?—You Had an emergency? Been in an Emotional funk? Been curled up with your lover?…Or just been in such a rush that you didn’t do it? I used to forget every Christmas morning…My Mom would have to remind me…lol We’ve all been taught that habits are these “things” that we do for 21 or 30 days 60 days…then they just become “automatic” for life. This is simply not true. I bet you had habits in the past- Good habits- that you No Longer have. Especially if you played high school or college sports. You worked out..you ate right ..you made fitness and athletic goals..you couldn’t go 4 hours in the day without looking in a mirror ..stepping on a scale..or measuring your progress in some area. You were given grades- scores- marks- you were tested amongst your peers and you sought to better yourself..to win and to improve. Maybe it was a reading habit, -a self love habit- a nutritional habit -or a meditation habit that you had that you used to live and die by… And now —-maybe you’ve been caught up. Nights of reading, journaling, exercising, quality time and self mastery have become nights on networking, of late-night dinners and a few too many drinks that ruin or take away form a productive morning. Or perhaps its late night TV, internet obsession, Facebook following, gossip etc. “We are what we repeatedly do”…...
