THE EXACT CLOSE I’VE USED TO PUT OVER 500K$ (In what would have been lost sales), in my pocket, and allowed me to assist clients in moving past the Objection of “I CAN’T AFFORD IT”. I’ve asked many of you over the past couple weeks, what your most common objection is and “CAN’T AFFORD IT”, was the winner by far. BTW….I learned this reframe from this guy named Tony Robbins. He is pretty good at the whole influence thing. Client: I can’t afford it EW: I completely understand (or agree). It is a significant investment in yourself. (rarely argue with a client) *Agreement frame* But, If you don’t handle your __________ (lack of systems, Mindset, confidence, limiting beliefs, skillset etc.) now….won’t it cost you a lot more______ in the future? *consequence frame from NLP. Client: Yes. EW: So the real question is…. (Here I am about to change the clients focus and therefore feeling by directing them with a question to something they weren’t thinking about: >many ways to do this) How do we find the money to get you the ___________ (pleasure), so you can avoid the _________ (pain) of the last year or decade? Because (because frame), you do want ___________ (logical and emotional results, ex. more time or money), so you can have the freedom to live life on your terms. Don’t you? *Tie down Question to get more agreement* Client: Yes I do. EW: So how can we get resourceful now to get ________ (emotional result). <As a side note…In my trainings, the consistent themes are personal responsibility, powerful choices, and resourcefulness. When I ask someone for money in an influence situation, I don’t just ask for the money. After I inform the client of the investment amount, I seamlessly detail all the logistics, bonuses, benefits, remind them of their goals, emotional reasons they got on the call with me in the first place etc. When enrolling someone into your course… you could say for example. “It’s $5k.” Then sit there in the awkward silence as the person goes in their head, and gets all logical trying to justify the investment. A lot of sales trainers teach people to say the price, and then “shut up”. And now, the friendly conversation has turned into a battle. 90% of the people I have sold to over the years are sales people or influencers themselves, and they know that game. Even your average buyer these days is pretty savvy, and no one likes to be put under unnecessary pressure. And so, here you must know your outcome. My outcome isn’ to win. It’s not to close people. Not to scare people. I don’t even think about the money when i’m on the phone with people. Some of that can help and getting money is nice..but its not what we need to be focused on in that moment. HERE is where you focus…. Can i support this human and getting out of their own freaking way to invest in themselves, to believe in themselves , to bet on themselves. Great salespeople are great influencers.. and to be great at influence you must stand for a cause and want to serve people..its not enough to...

MISSING THE MARK ON HELPING CERTAIN CLIENTS? THIS… COULD BE WHY. After the onset of taking on a new client and finding out why they are there, and what it is they truly want…. You must create some target for the mind to hook on to. Often times you are able to get results for a client and they never celebrate the progress, and/or they often forget how far they come in the time working with you, and so they feel like the progress has been minimal. You must quantify results and create targets. Here are 2 powerful questions I ask after taking a client on. Snag these!! 1. How will you know you have obtained your outcome? 2. If you were sitting at the end of these 12 weeks, looking back prior to, what would have had to happen for you to feel like the experience was well worth it? Can you see how these questions set realistic expectations for both the client as well as the coach and give you something to work towards. Instead of the accumulation of more info…it must constantly be reinforced that you are working towards something and implementation is key. Not knowledge for the sake of knowledge. Not coaching sessions for the sake of conversations. You aren’t there just to chat but rather striving toward something. These criteria also hold true in any service based occupation from real-estate sales to branding work. Progress equals happiness. Measured progress equals happy clients. Remember RPM RESULT focused.   RESET, SCREW YOU, BOOM, WHAT’S MY OUTCOME?, THANK YOU FOR THE LESSON, NOW THIS IS WHAT I WANT…, DINGLEBERRY, STRONGER THAN THAT. What do all these words/phrases have in common? They are PATTERN INTERRUPTS. Hey, we all get stuck sometimes. Negative self talk, focusing on the past, focusing on things out of our control, telling ourself stories, worrying what others think of us, etc. We get stuck in our patterns of thought feeling, emotion and we to just need to snap out of it. Yeah, it’d be great to take that vacation, sign up for that seminar, go workout, jump out of an airplane (with a parachute) or shake up our life a bit, but those activities aren’t always available. You need to be able to have a set series of things you do to break your own patterns immediately. My mentor used to yell “Reset” for example. I say “boom” and ask my self, “What do I really want now?” Remember questions control focus, and focus has a big influence on the way you feel. Not feeling good right now? Well you may have created habitual ways of focusing your mind, using your body, or creating meaning through your language. The quality of your life is the quality of your communication. And you cannot not communicate. Come up with an empowering way to snap yourself out of a pattern. We all go there sometimes but its not a place you want to stay.
